From the first sketch of the meeting, developes an adventure whose each phase is excavated in detail: light brushing contact, collision, complicity (the quintessential pas de deux)...Everyhting comes from the power of the gestures and simultaneously the lightness of the choreography."
It's a play of the desire and the refusal, of the fear and the audacity, of the meeting and of the rupture: scenes of daily life in between vaudeville and drama..a good dose of invention, of talent, a coherent intention, honest and tonic. They avoid the sad and morose cliches of the new dance in order to dance with sincerity, if not pleasure."
In front of our eyes pass the paintings of Edward Hopper, movies of Humphrey Bogart, Coppola, Butch Cassidy, Bonnie and Clyde, Nola Darling and Chaplin. Flowing in the wake of the other, the two dancers lend each other their centrifugal forces in a perfect belgian-american accord."
